Founded in 2004 by Dr. James Amster and Dr. Kay Yan, Liberty Pacific Medical Imaging Long Beach (LPMI) is dedicated to providing our community with the finest medical imaging technologies and services available. Our core principles are to provide clinical excellence, quality care and superior service to patients and to the doctors who refer them.
Our radiologists are board certified and fellowship trained in diagnostic radiology. They also specialize in musculoskeletal and neuroradiology as well as breast MRI and women’s imaging. Combined with the expertise of our experienced, certified technologists and ACR (American College of Radiology) certified MRI, CT and ultrasound imaging systems, this ensures that each patient receives the highest quality professional services available. The medical community understands the importance of these credentials and appreciates the confidence they help to instill.
Patients enjoy an atmosphere and service that is friendly, caring and knowledgeable. Our spa-like waiting areas are appealing and comfortable. Our staff takes time to explain procedures and answer questions. As a special thank you and to comfort those who may have fasted for their exam, fresh baked cookies are given to each patient at the end of their exam.
